Later in 2007, Flip Ultra was released. The Flip Ultra has been the best-selling camcorder and is capturing about 13% of the camcorder market. The Flip camera is available in three storage sizes: 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB. The standard versions of these cameras have a 640 x 480 resolution. The Flip Ultra has a 2-inch screen, while the Flip Mino has a 1.5-inch screen.

The HD Flip versions have a resolution of 1280 x 720. USB arm attached with these cameras can be easily plugged into a computer to transfer the videos. The most basic Flip video camera is the Flip Ultra. It is a pocket sized camera and is available in black, white, yellow and pink color. It has the internal memory of 4GB which easily gives 2 hours of recording. The HD camera has 8 GB internal memory and gives two hours of recording in full HD quality. The unique rechargeable battery pack makes it different from the Flip Ultra camera. The Flip Mino is an upgraded version of the Ultra. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery. The camera is smaller in size than Ultra but it has a better quality and resolution.
