An issue with this new model is that the photos are smaller than they used to be with Polaroid cameras. They are now 2.1 x 3.4 inches. This might seem to be a drawback for people who used the old camera but for the new generation that might never have used instant film camera before; size will make no difference. In fact they might be so amused by the instant photo technology that they won't bother worrying about the size of the photos.

Film cameras are now indeed a part of the telescope world. There are three popular ways in which the camera can be attached to the telescope for a much better output. One is though the piggyback mount. This device attaches the film camera into the telescope tube via a bracket that is locked to the back unit of the scope or a ring that clamps around the telescope pipe. The camera is not dependent on the telescope. It shoots using its own lens and the enlargement obtained depends upon its type. With the piggyback mount, the telescope purposely serves in guiding the photo shoot's accuracy and as a tracking mount.

ISO speed settings are easier to change. In fact, all film settings are much easier to adjust and set on a digital camera compared with a traditional film camera.
